Last week we spent a fun-filled five days at the weird and wonderful Somersault Festival in North Devon. It was unlike any festival you would have been to before, with a combination of music, comedy, dance classes, wilderness explorations, yoga and even arts and crafts for the kids! It was the perfect setting for a family trip or a weekend away with friends, with surf lessons and kayaking by day and campfires and DJ forest parties by night.

They had an awesome lineup, including Australian sibling singing duo Angus and Julia Stone, singer-songwriter Laura Marling and folk singing sister trio The Staves. If that wasn't enough to get you there they also had the indie rock band Bombay Bicycle Club, the reggae legend Jimmy Cliff, folk singer-songwriter Passenger and even electronic folk band Crystal Fighters.

It may have poured down with rain for most of the time but that didn't dampen our spirits!
