A little birdy told us that the 'cabbage' is one of the oldest vegetables known to man. It is still to this day – low in saturated fats and packed with Vitamin C, K, A, B6 and Calcium. Who knew this simple veg would be so good for our health?


Even though China is the greatest manufacturer of this white headed vegetable; February is the best time to pick up a batch. This ancient veg can be eaten raw, cooked or pickled! 


This herbaceous plant has an immense amount of nutrients that is especially beneficial for you during the winter months. It is known to boost your immune system. Have some chicory in your diet and your taste buds will be ready for a LICKALIX ice lolly this summer!


This vegetable has been trending for months and it hasn't stopped! It has become everyone's favourite vegetable due its immense nutritional benefits. It tastes great in smoothies and it can also be baked into Kale Chips, a LICKALIX HQ favourite! 


There's a reason why our mums always had a batch of oranges in the kitchen during the winter season. All that Vitamin C helps our body beat the common cold! It is much better to eat a natural orange in February than to take a Vitamin C tablet.
