We love switching up what we have for breakfast, especially when the seasons change! Now that it's getting colder outside, we absolutely adore having a warm smoothie first thing in the morning.

Wait, warm? Yes, you heard correctly - a WARM smoothie! We love our cold smoothies as well, but when outside it's cold and raining 24/7 we just feel like something more comforting.

In this blogpost we're sharing our favourite warm ginger and pear smoothie with you guys. The trick to making a warm smoothie is to not only serve it warm, but also put warming spices in it, like ginger and turmeric.

This smoothie contains pear, banana, coconut oil, warm nut milk, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper and cayenne. That sounds like a lot of ingredients, but there's a good chance you've got them in your cupboard already! (Check out this link to get the exact measurements)

While warming up your nut milk, add the rest of the ingredients to the blender. Once warm, add in the nut milk as well. And there you have it: a nice, warm smoothie, perfect for Autumn!
